Barrow & Grimm, P.C. is honored to account that one of its Partners, Brad Heckenkemper, has been re-appointed to the Oklahoma Court on the Judiciary. The Court is comprised of 8 Oklahoma Senior District Court Judges from around the State and one representative appointed by the Oklahoma Bar Association’s Board of Governors. At the Court’s recent meeting, he was elected to serve as Vice-Presiding Judge of the Court. He has served on the Court since 2013.
The Oklahoma Court on the Judiciary is one of the two independent courts in Oklahoma with exclusive jurisdiction in adjudicating discipline and hearing cases involving the removal of a judge from office, exercising judicial power under the Oklahoma Constitution.
