Tim Rogers is a preferred shareholder of Barrow & Grimm, P.C. where his practice focuses primarily on business and commercial litigation involving complex business transactions, contractual disputes, fiduciary obligations, employment and wage claim disputes, business torts, creditors’ rights and bankruptcy issues. Mr. Rogers also devotes a large portion of his practice to the construction industry, where he represents general contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers and surety companies and government agencies in actions involving contractual disputes, construction defects, mechanics’ and materialmen’s liens, Miller Act bond claims and other related matters.
Tim’s achievements have earned him inclusion in Oklahoma Super Lawyers’ list of “Oklahoma Rising Stars” for Business Litigation.
He graduated from Oklahoma State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Economics and a minor in Finance in 2005. While at Oklahoma State, Tim was a member of the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity, Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi Business Fraternity, Economics Society, and Phi Eta Sigma Honor Fraternity.
Tim received his Juris Doctor with honor from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2008. While in law school, he was an Editor for the Tulsa Law Review. Mr. Rogers was also a member of the Phi Delta Phi Honor Legal Honor Fraternity, Phi Kappa Phi Honor Fraternity and received the CALI “Excellence for the Future” Award for outstanding achievement in the study of Constitutional Law II.
Tim served on the Board of Directors for the Oklahoma Bar Association Young Lawyers Division representing District 6 from 2010-2014 and received the Committee Chair of the Year Award for 2013. He is a graduate of the Oklahoma Bar Association’s Leadership Academy for 2011-2012 and a fellow of the Oklahoma Bar Foundation. Tim provides pro bono service to the Oklahoma Lawyers for America’s Heroes program and the Disaster Relief Committee of the Oklahoma Bar Association.
As a member of member of the Tulsa County Bar Association, Tim served as Chair of its Public Relations Committee (2011-2012). He also served as Chair of Young Lawyers Division of the Tulsa County Bar Association. He was named the Tulsa County Bar Association’s Outstanding Young Lawyer for 2010-2011 and received the President’s Award for Distinguished Service Award for 2010-2011. He also serves on the Tulsa County Bar Foundation’s Steering Committee for its capital campaign and on the Board of Directors for the University of Tulsa College of Law Alumni Association. Additionally, Tim is a barrister in the Council Oak/Johnson-Sontag Chapter of the American Inns of Court.
In addition to his legal activities, Tim serves on the Board of Directors for Tulsa Mayfest International, Inc. and is a graduate of Leadership Tulsa Class 52. He is a member of the Oklahoma Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. and its Young Professionals Steering Committee. Tim is also a member of the Associated General Contractors of Oklahoma and its Construction Leadership Council.
