Cori Powell graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2003 with her bachelor of business administration in business economics. Following graduation, Ms. Powell attended the University of Oklahoma College of Law where she was a member of the Oklahoma Law Review. She also received American Jurisprudence Awards for excellence in the study of civil procedure, supreme court decision-making, family law, constitutional law, and will and trusts. Ms. Powell graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2006, and was awarded membership to the prestigious Order of the Coif, which membership is reserved to the students graduating in the top 10% of their law school class.
Ms. Powell joined Barrow & Grimm immediately following graduation in 2006, and her practice is primarily focused on real estate transactions, real estate law, business law, commercial and business-related litigation and contractual disputes. She is an associate in the Council Oak/Johnson-Sontag Chapter of the American Inns of Court. In 2013-2015, she was recognized as a “Super Lawyer” by Super Lawyers Magazine, in which she was previously recognized as a “Rising Star” in 2011 and 2012.
Ms. Powell enjoys supporting the Tulsa community and Tulsa charities through her membership in various organizations, including the Oklahoma Bar Association, Tulsa County Bar Association, Home Builders Association of Greater Tulsa, Colon Cancer Coalition and Pi Beta Phi Tulsa Alumni Club.
